Service Bulletin SRE05-14 "Recall B023 - Quarantine Notification for Affected Vehicles" announced a quarantine of unsold vehicles in Retailer
Inventory. This bulletin permits repair of those vehicles once parts supplies have been obtained.

NOTE:

All replaced parking pawl guide plates are designated as "Warranty Return Parts" and must be saved for return to Land Rover for inspection. Normal
warranty policy and procedures apply.

Repair Procedure

INSTALL NEW PARKING PAWL GUIDE PLATE (LM - RANGE ROVER VEHICLES)

1.

Drive vehicle onto ramp.

2.

Apply the parking brake.

CAUTION: the transmission selector must be placed in the Neutral (N) position throughout the following repair.

3.

Select "N" with the gear selector.

NOTE:

4.

Refer to GTR Workshop Manual Section 86.15.01 and disconnect the battery ground cable.

5.

Raise ramp to safe working height.

Drain the transmission fluid into a clean container for re-use

7.

Refer to GTR and remove the transmission fluid pan.
