CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation: 

A rear differential pinion oil seal is now available as a serviceable part. It is no longer necessary to replace the complete rear differential for issues
related to the pinion oil seal.

Action: 

In the event is becomes necessary to replace the rear differential pinion oil seal, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below.

1. Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) Section 205-02: Rear Drive Axle / Differential (51.20.01) to replace the rear differential pinion oil seal.
