Instrument Cluster Causing Battery Drain
AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:
CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation:
An issue has been identified where the vehicle battery may be drained without apparent reason. This may be due to the instrument cluster causing a 1.2
Amp drain on the battery and not allowing the vehicle to go into 'sleep mode'.
Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to measure the battery drain and, if necessary, reconfigure
the instrument cluster control module.

DISCHARGE TEST FOR INSTRUMENT CLUSTER
1. Refer to Battery Care Manual section Quiescent Current Testing and connect suitable current measuring equipment to the vehicle and select 'Amps'
from the range.
