CONDITION SUMMARY:

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE AND SOFTWARE DISC FOR DVD DIAGNOSTICS 

Situation: 

A range of software and hardware issues within the DVD system contribute to difficulty in diagnosis of system faults. The concerns are: failing in use,
locking up, refusal to load discs, ejecting/sticking discs, distorted picture. This Technical Bulletin has been issued to supply a Diagnostic Procedure for
accessory-installed DVD systems.

Action: 

Because of the various issues encountered, the diagnostic Procedure's shown provides a list of possible failure modes and appropriate rectification
procedures for each failure.
