Cooling Fan Belt Tensioner

Cooling Fan Belt Tensioner 

Service Repair No - 26.25.02

Removal 

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable. 
2. Remove the viscous fan drive belt. 

3. Remove the viscous fan drive belt tensioner.

Remove the bolt.

4. NOTE: Do not disassemble further if the component is removed for access only.

Remove the drive belt pulley.

Remove the bolt.

Installation 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Tighten the pulley bolt to 25 Nm (18 ft. lbs.).

Tighten the tensioner bolt to 40 Nm (30 ft. lbs.).

2. Install the viscous fan drive belt.
