Compare the tune level displayed to the recorded value in step 8.

If the observed and recorded values are the same, the vehicle already has the desired software level and the tune download process can be aborted.

If the observed and recorded values are different, configure the control module as follows:

Return to the 'Vehicle Configuration' screen and select 'Module Configuration'

Select 'Configure Existing Modules'.

From the sub-menu, select 'Engine Control Module'

Check the tick-box to continue and follow the on-screen instructions.

Repeat step 8 to confirm the software level change.
13.
Exit the WDS session and disconnect the diagnostic equipment from the vehicle.
