Power Seat Motor: Service and Repair

REMOVE

1. Position the seat to give access to the motors.
2. Disconnect the battery negative lead.
3. Remove the seat base trim.

Seat Motors

4. Remove two securing screws from each side of the required motor.
5. Withdraw the motor from its mounting.
6. Disconnect the drive cables by unscrewing the ferrule.
7. Disconnect the wires from the multi-plug and remove the motor.

REFIT

1. Reverse the removal procedure.
2. Check the seat adjustment for correct operation.
