Power Seat Switch: Service and Repair

REMOVE

1. Disconnect the battery negative lead.

2. Pry the two finger tip controls from the top of the switch housing.
3. Removing the switch housing cover by lightly depressing the sides of the cover to disengage the clips. Remove the diaphragm fitted to later

models.

4. Remove two crosshead screws and washers and lift the switch assembly to gain access to the two multiplugs.
5. Disconnect the multiplugs and withdraw the switch assembly.

REFIT

1. Reverse instructions.

NOTE:  If switch housing removal is required it is necessary to remove the seat to gain access to the two securing screws.
