Recall - 6G2/H Brake Reservoir Label Incorrect

VEHICLE NONCOMPLIANCE/RECALL - 6G2/H

To: ALL RANGE ROVER DEALERS

Land Rover, Ltd., has determined that the brake fluid reservoir on some 1987 Range Rover vehicles imported by RRNA is improperly labeled. The
specific Warning text required by a Federal safety standard is missing and such vehicles are therefore not in compliance.

Affected vehicles fall within the VIN range ...HA298970 and ...HA301608. Not all of the vehicles are affected, and only a portion of the suspect units
were imported by RRNA. Many dealers did not receive or sell any affected units, but you need to be aware of this program in the event that an owner
comes to your dealership with a Recall Notice.

We will notify reported owners by first class mail on September 14, 1987, of this action.

Obviously, the procedure of installing the label is simple, but reporting the status of completed units is critical and it requires appropriate attention. We
are counting on you to verify that vehicles are reported so that we can quickly close this action. Many of the vehicles are recent deliveries, so don't miss
the opportunity to take care of this at the 1000 Mile Service. Any vehicles currently at your dealership must be corrected and reported immediately.

labels, call our Technical Hotline.

VIN RANGE - A limited number of vehicles between ...HA298970 and ...HA301320. Only a portion of vehicles in this range were imported and only a
portion of those imported are potentially affected. 114 affected vehicles were shipped to Dealers. Vehicles allocated to your Dealership are listed on a
printout which accompanies this Service Bulletin. If a customer presents a recall notice for a vehicle which is not on your list, please install the label and
submit a claim.
