Reseal ESTER oil container after use.

Install compressor onto vehicle.

Remove O-rings from service valves
4.
Lubricate the new O-rings with ESTER oil and install O-rings on service valves.
5.
Install service valves. (Figure 2)
6.
Install new receiver-drier assembly.
7.
Lubricate new A/C pipe O-rings with ESTER oil and install O-rings on connectors.
8.
Connect A/C pipes to receiver-drier. (Figure 3)
CAUTION:
Ensure that adapters are installed on correct schrader valve.
9.
Install 17 mm hex red-capped HS adapter to schrader port on HS service valve.
Install 15 mm hex blue-capped LS adapter to schrader port on LS service valve.
Charging A/C System & Final Testing
CHARGING A/C SYSTEM & FINAL TESTING
1.
Connect A/C system to R-134a refrigerant handling system and vacuum test system for integrity.
Connect battery.
NOTE:
Refrigerant charge may be varied by ±5%

Refer to the workshop manual as applicable and charge system using approved procedure with specified amount of R-134a refrigerant for Range
Rover Classic or Defender 110.
