Interior Lighting Relay: Description and Operation

OPERATION

The interior roof lamps are operated automatically via the side door and tailgate courtesy switches or by an independent switch located on the
auxiliary switch panel.

The roof lamp circuit incorporates a delay function which is designed to allow the lamps to remain on for 12 to 18 seconds after either of the front
doors are closed. Switching on the ignition (with both doors closed) will immediately override this feature, switching the interior lamps off.
