BRAKE LAMP SWITCH REPLACEMENT

To: ALL RANGE ROVER DEALERS

When replacing or adjusting the brake lamp switch, please note the following:

-

Do not twist the switch housing to tighten or loosen. Since the switch stem is keyed into the bracket, twisting can break the switch.

Tighten the shoulder nut only enough to limit switch movement.

Test switch operation with the engine running. The brake lamps should operate with light pedal pressure.
