CONDITION SUMMARY:
SCREECHING NOISE FROM ECM HOUSING (E-BOX) COOLING FAN
Situation: A customer may report a concern of a high-pitched screeching noise coming from behind the fascia or from the engine compartment.
Investigation locates the noise to the engine control module housing (E-Box). The E-Box cooling fan is the likely cause of the noise.
Action: Should a customer express this screeching noise concern, refer to the Repair Procedure detailed in this bulletin to resolve the concern.
