CAUTION:

Engine coolant will damage paint finished surfaces. Immediately remove any spilled coolant and clean area with water.

3.

Verify the recommend amount of engine coolant is in the expansion tank.

4.

Replace the filler cap.

5.

If the coolant level is correct perform the following:

Remove the electrical connector from the expansion tank level sensor. (Arrowed in Figure 1)

If there is damage to the electrical connector or terminals, repair as necessary.

Connect the electrical connector to the expansion tank level sensor.

6.

If the "Check Coolant Level" message still displays after the connector check, refer to GTR section 303-03A or B operation 26.15.01 and replace
the engine coolant expansion tank.

7.

Verify that the "Check Coolant Level" message no longer displays when the coolant level is within recommended level.
