Engine Vibration at Idle in Park / Neutral During Air Conditioning Operation - Repair Procedure

CONDITION SUMMARY:
Situation:
An engine vibration may be transmitted through the body of the vehicle with the engine at idle and the transmission in either Park (P) or Neutral (N)
when the air conditioning compressor engages / disengages. This may be caused by idle speed sensitivity based on inputs received from the Heating
Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) system.
Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to update the Engine Control Module (ECM) software,
check the Transmission Control Module (TCM) software, and if necessary update the TCM software.
