6. Remove the steering wheel spoke trim rear panels.

Release from the 4 clips.

7. Remove the steering wheel spoke trims.

Release from the 2 clips.

8. Remove the 2 clips for the driver air bag module from the steering wheel.

Installation

All vehicles

1. Install the 2 clips for the driver air bag module to the steering wheel.
2. Install the steering wheel spoke trims.

Secure the clips.

3. Install the steering wheel spoke trim rear panels.

Secure the clips.

4. Install the steering wheel rear trim panel.

Connect the electrical connector.

Install the 4 screws.

Right-hand drive vehicles

CAUTION: Make sure that the wheels and tires are in the straight-ahead position. Failure to follow this instruction may result in damage
to the components.

CAUTION: RHD vehicles: With the wheels and tires in the straight-ahead position, the bottom timing mark on the steering column must
be aligned with the steering wheel mark, see illustration below.

5. Carefully install the steering wheel, align the clockspring and align to the steering column.

Tighten the bolt to 63 Nm (46 ft. lbs.).
