CHECKING/CLEARING DTCS

*CAUTION: 

A Midtronics PSC-550 Vehicle Power Supply must be connected to the vehicle battery during diagnosis*.

*NOTE: 

Use Range Rover disc 21 for this procedure*.

1.

Connect the Midtronics PSC-550 power supply to the vehicle battery.

2.

Connect IDS to the vehicle and begin a new T4/RDS diagnostic session, entering the correct VIN for the current vehicle when prompted.

3.

Follow ALL on-screen instructions and select 'Diagnostics':

Select 'System Diagnostics'.

Select 'Automatic Transmission'.

^

Select 'Fault Code Diagnostics'.

^

Clear fault codes.

^

Return to 'System Diagnostics' screen.

^

Select 'Exterior Lights'.

^

Select 'Fault Code Diagnostics'.

Clear fault codes.

4.

End the T4/RDS diagnostic session and return to the 'IDS Main Menu' screen,

5.

Disconnect the IDS and the Midtronics PSC-550 from the vehicle.
