SITUATION:
AC INOPERATIVE
A customer may report a concern that the air conditioning (A/C) has ceased to operate. The A/C hoses at the front of the engine bay may be in contact.
The resulting chaffing of the hose can lead to loss of refrigerant.
RESOLUTION:
REPLACE DAMAGED HOSES
Should a customer complain of inoperative Air Conditioning, determine the cause or the source of the leak. Install a hose retaining clip between the
compressor and the intermediate pipes and replace any affected A/C hoses.
