CAUTION:

A Midtronics PSC-550 Vehicle Power Supply must be connected to the vehicle battery during IDS diagnosis / module programming.

1. Connect the Midtronics PSC-550 Vehicle Power Supply to the vehicle battery.

NOTE:

IDS must be loaded with the latest IDS DVD software release.

2. Connect the IDS to the vehicle and begin a new diagnostic session by entering the correct VIN for the current vehicle.

3. Follow the IDS prompts to read the vehicle configuration.

4. Select 'Yes' when prompted 'Do you wish to read diagnostic trouble codes?'

5. Select 'tick' to continue.

6. If DTC P0134 or P0154 is set, monitor the affected sensor(s) activity.

If no activity is evident, continue to REPLACE OXYGEN SENSOR.

If activity is evident, continue to SEAL OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR BOOTS.

7. Clear all DTC's and reset adaptions.

8. Exit the current session.

9. Disconnect IDS and the Midtronics PSC-550 Vehicle Power Supply from the vehicle.

REPLACE OXYGEN SENSOR(S)

NOTE:

Global Technical Reference (GTR) lookup sequence is as follows: GTR Home > NAS > LM - New Range Rover > Service Information > Model Year >
Workshop Manual > 17-2 - Emission Control - V8 > Section 19.22.16 or 19.22.71

1. Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) Section 19.22.16 or 19.22.71 and SSM27234 to replace oxygen sensor(s) which showed no activity during IDS
monitoring.

SEAL OXYGEN SENSOR CONNECTOR BOOTS

1. Refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) section 03 - General Information to securely raise and support the vehicle.

2. Release oxygen sensor harness from clips.

3. Release oxygen sensor electrical connector from the support bracket.

4. Disconnect oxygen sensor electrical connector.

5. Using compressed air, blow away any contaminants / moisture in both connector ends.

NOTE:

Cable ties must be of a maximum width of 2.5mm (0.10in). Ensure cable ties are installed in the grooves of the rubber boot.
