Front Seat Cushion Foam Irregularities

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

SITUATION:

FOAM IRREGULARITIES CAUSE POOR FITTING CUSHION COVERS

The front seat cushion foam may have a significant void or cavity in the rear side area of the 'B' surface under the black support fabric. The
manufacturing irregularity can lead to the appearance of a poorly fitted leather seat cover.

RESOLUTION:

INSPECT CUSHION FOAM FOR VOIDS AND REPLACE AS INDICATED

NOTE:

This bulletin only covers concerns with the seat cushion. The leather seat covers will not need to be replaced under the terms of this bulletin.

Should a customer complain about a wrinkled seat cushion cover or other indications of incorrectly formed foam cushions, inspect the foam for voids or
cracking as described in the Repair section of this bulletin and replace with new specification seat cushion if indicated.

DDW WARRANTY CLAIMS:

NOTE:

The Land Rover policy for warranty claims against leather seating surface covers is that only manufacturing defects in the leather are warrantable.
Customer induced conditions such as cuts, pen marks, dirt, spills or cigarette burns are not covered.

DDW requires the use of causal part numbers. Labor only claims must show the causal part number with a quantity of zero.
