NOTE:

The list of vehicles is the known population of vehicles repaired during the time when incorrect information was published in RAVE. Vehicles
currently undergoing repair must use the latest specifications and information as published in RAVE V018-1 or later.

SITUATION:

POSSIBLE INCORRECTLY TORQUED SENSOR FASTENERS

Early editions of the RAVE Workshop Manual for 2003 Range Rover contained an incorrect torque specification for the Supplementary Restraint
System (SRS) side impact sensors. During the period that the incorrect information was published repairs involving side impact sensors may have been
performed with incorrect torque applied to the sensor fasteners.

RESOLUTION:

VERIFY PROPER TORQUE ON SRS SIDE IMPACT SENSORS

At the next service opportunity perform the corrective action outlined in this bulletin to verify and ensure that the proper torque value has been applied to
the SRS sensor on the affected vehicles.
