Warranty claims should be submitted quoting Program Code Q089, Option Code X, and the relevant SROs. The SRO for drive in I drive out may only
be claimed if the vehicle is brought back into the workshop for this action alone to be undertaken.

This Service Action is valid for a limited time only and will expire on 31 March 2012. All Warranty claims up to this date must be submitted for
payment within 30 days of completion of the repair.

NOTE:

Warranty claims should be submitted quoting Program Code "Q089" together with Option Code 'X' and the relevant SROs. When claiming for
module updates, claim only one SRO for 'Install / Remove IDS' and then one SRO for each module updated.

Vehicles repaired under Update Prior to Sale UPS4409-1b will already have had the Cellular Telephone ECU software update performed; do not attempt
to carry out this update again.

Normal warranty policy and procedures apply.

REPAIR PROCEDURE

TEST VEHICLE BATTERY - VINS AA302697 - AA320152 ONLY

1. Using the Midtronics tester, determine the battery condition.

Record Midtronics tester code in vehicle file.

If Replace Battery or Bad Cell Battery is displayed, refer to Workshop Manual (GTR) section 414-01 (86.15.01) and replace the vehicle battery.

For all other results, proceed to UPDATE VEHICLE MODULE SOFTWARE.

UPDATE VEHICLE MODULE SOFTWARE - ALL VINS AS APPROPRIATE

CAUTION:
