DETAIL
To improve the opening and latching operation of the glovebox, a new gas strut assembly and mounting details have been introduced into production.
The new components may be installed on vehicles produced before the change to improve glovebox operation.

The diagnostic steps and repair procedures detailed on the following pages were developed as an element of the Land Rover Way Operation PRIDE.
This TIB provides a library location for PRIDE information within the Land Rover North America technical literature system.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint of unsatisfactory operation of the glovebox, the gas strut and mounting components should be replaced as detailed below.
