DETAIL

The 18" wheel and tire combination specified on the Range Rover (and the accessory 18" wheel and tire) are more sensitive to imbalance than other
Land Rover wheels. They are also more difficult to balance.

This procedure covers the most significant issues affecting wheel vibration; however, not all drive train vibrations emanate from wheel imbalance. It can
be difficult to differentiate between wheel balance and
other issues. Properly balanced wheels are the first step in the process for diagnosing a vibration concern. Drive train vibration is covered in a separate
bulletin.

The diagnostic steps and repair procedures detailed in this bulletin were developed as an element of the Land Rover Way OPERATION PRIDE. This
TIB provides a library location for PRIDE information within the Land Rover North America technical literature system.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint for the symptoms outlined, perform the specified repairs.

If you need to adapt to a center size other than 28 mm or 40 mm, order from LRNA the 40 mm arbor and a sleeve to adapt it to the size required.
