Inspect the rubber sealing washer behind the flange for amage, replace a damaged washer with RTC6363.
CAUTION:
A new style flange must be installed on the front output shaft when replacing the seal.

Install new flange and dust shield and secure with new Nyloc(R) nut and sealing washer.
4.
Tighten nut to 220 Nm. (162 lbf.ft).
5.
Reinstall remaining components as described in WSM section 41.
6.
Top off transfer gearbox with Dextron III ATF.
