Guide pin uses a special, flange headed bolt (3). DO NOT use any other type of bolt.

When pressing caliper piston back, ensure that displaced fluid does not overflow from reservoir.

REMOVAL 

1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Remove rear road wheels.
3. Remove bolt (3) from lower guide pin of each caliper.

4. Swivel caliper upwards, then remove brake pads (4).
5. Using piston clamp tool No. LRT-70-500, or equivalent, press caliper piston fully into bore.
6. Clean faces of piston and pad locations in caliper.
7. Check condition of guide pin boots, replace if damaged or split.
8. Using an approved hose clamp, clamp flexible hose at caliper.

9. Remove banjo bolt (7) securing flexible hose to caliper. Discard sealing washers.

10. Plug caliper and hose to prevent ingress of dirt.
11. Remove 2 bolts (5) securing caliper frame to axle.
12. Remove caliper (6).

INSTALLATION 

1. Clean exposed parts of caliper pistons with brake fluid.
2. Install caliper to axle and secure with bolts, then tighten to 100 Nm. (74 ft. lbs.). 
3. Remove plugs from caliper and hose.
4. Using new sealing washers, position hose to caliper and secure with banjo bolt, then tighten to 32 Nm (24 ft. lbs.). 
5. Remove hose clamp.
6. Bleed brakes. See: Brake Bleeding
7. Remove safety stands. Lower vehicle.
8. Press brake pedal firmly several times to seat brake pads.
9. Install brake pads (4) with chamfer towards leading edge of disc (towards rear of vehicle), then swivel calipers downwards into position.

10. Install guide pin bolts (3), then tighten to bolts to 35 Nm (26 ft. lbs.). 
11. Apply brake pedal several times to locate pads.
12. Check fluid reservoir level. Top off, if necessary, using correct grade of fluid.
13. Install road wheels, then tighten to 108 Nm (80 ft. lbs.).
