3. Lubricate sensor (7) with silicone grease.
4. Push sensor fully into bushing until it contacts toothed wheel.

NOTE:  Correct sensor position will be obtained when vehicle is driven.

5. Engage sensor harness to brackets (4) and brake hose clip (5).
6. Connect multiplug, then secure plug in clip.
7. Install road wheel.
8. Remove safety stands, then lower vehicle.
9. Clear any diagnostic trouble codes using suitable test equipment.

10. Carry out short road test to ensure that ABS warning light remains extinguished.

NOTE:  Numbers in parentheses ( ) below refer to numbers in the illustrations.

CAUTION:  If a sensor is removed for any reason, a NEW sensor bushing must be fitted.

REMOVAL 

1. Raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove road wheel.
3. Release sensor harness multiplug (3) from clip, then disconnect multiplug.
4. Release sensor harness grommets from bracket, then remove sensor harness.
