5. Remove two bolts (5) securing sensor harness guard to axle, then release the two harness clips from brake pipe.
6. Clean area around sensor to prevent ingress of dirt.
7. Using a suitable lever, pry sensor (8) from bushing.

8. Remove sensor/harness assembly (8).
9. Remove seal and bushing (9).

10. Clean sensor location.

INSTALLATION 

1. Lubricate new sensor bushing (9) with suitable silicone grease.
2. Install sensor bushing and seal.
3. Lubricate sensor with suitable silicone grease.
4. Push sensor (8) fully into bushing until it contacts reluctor ring.

NOTE:  Correct sensor position will be gained when vehicle is driven.

5. Position sensor harness guard, then secure with bolts (5).
6. Engage sensor harness guard clips to brake pipe.
7. Thread sensor harness through grommets, then engage grommets in bracket.
8. Connect multiplug (3) and secure in clip.
9. Install road wheel.

10. Remove safety stands, then lower vehicle.
11. Clear any diagnostic trouble codes using suitable test equipment.
12. Carry out short road test to ensure that ABS warning light remains extinguished.
