CAUTION:

Routing of the breather pipe for campaign D321-D324 is to the LH inner fender. (Figure 1) Routing of the breather in production AFTER VIN
WA402293 is to an alternate location on the RH inner fender. (Figure 2) BOTH locations require the same modification to the breather.

Locate the transmission breather pipe:

On Recall vehicles routed along the bulkhead to the left side

On production vehicles routed along the bulkhead to the right side

CAUTION:

Do not remove hoses from the purge canister.

If the vehicle has a Recall breather pipe, remove the bolt securing the purge canister to provide access to the inner fender area.

4.

Disconnect the breather pipe from the two retaining clips along the engine bulkhead.
