DETAIL

A squeak coming from the rear of the vehicle can be caused by the load space cover support shelves contacting the inner rear quarter trim panels.

ACTION REQUIRED

Upon customer complaint of a squeak from the rear parcel shelf support, follow the procedure below.

PARTS INFORMATION

STC3O95 - Roll of Anti-Rattle Tape.

PROCEDURE

1.

Fold the rear seats forward.

2.

Remove the load space cover.

3.

Remove the 3 studs securing the load space support shelf.

4.

Apply anti-rattle tape STC3095 to the surfaces that come into contact with the inner quarter trim panels.

5.

Refit the shelf. Repeat the operation on the other support shelf if required.

6.

Refit the load space cover.

7.

Check that the squeak is no longer present
