DETAIL
The routing of the left front turn signal wiring on affected vehicles may allow the wire to chafe against the air conditioner refrigerant tube in the vicinity
of the turn signal. The resulting damage to the wiring may cause an intermittent short circuit, or possibly an open Circuit, which prompts the BeCM to
present a message center display of "Bulb Failure" even though the bulb has not failed.
ACTION REQUIRED
Upon customer complaint for the symptoms outlined, perform the specified repairs. Inspect vehicle for chafed wiring. Insulate and protect the wires as
outlined in the procedure.
