DETAIL
An electrical short circuit of the sunvisor vanity mirror illumination can occur if pressure is applied to the mirror surface. The conductive rear surface of
the mirror may contact the two illumination circuit supply bus bars. Shorting out the mirror will cause Fuse 6 to blow.

TIB provides a library location for PRIDE information within the Land Rover North America technical literature system.
ACTION REQUIRED
Upon customer complaint for the symptoms outlined, perform the specified repairs. The possibility of an electrical short can be eliminated by following
the procedure below as a preventative measure.

2" wide masking tape 3M (Scotch) # 6340 or equivalent
PROCEDURE
Perform the diagnostic procedures and repairs outlined in this bulletin for the repair of vanity mirror shorting.
NOTE 1:
The Electrical Troubleshooting Manual for Range Rover incorrectly identifies that the sunvisor vanity mirror illumination circuit is connected to
Fuse 13.
NOTE 2:
TestBook communication with the auto gearbox ECM is not possible until Fuse 6 has been replaced. No gearbox faults or ABS faults are stored
when Fuse 6 fails.
