If the vehicle has a Recall breather pipe, remove the snap fit end of the breather pipe from the location at the LH inner fender. (Figure 1)

If the vehicle is equipped with a production breather pipe, remove the snap fit end of the breather pipe from the location at the RH inner fender.

7.

Measure 180 mm (7.5 inches) from the tip of the breather pipe snap end fitting.

CAUTION:

 Ensure that the angle of the cut is made so that the opening is oriented toward the inner fender wall.
