If the breather pipe is in the production (right side) location, move the evaps hose clip outboard of the evaps hose shielding to better support the
end of the breather pipe. (Figure 4)

Secure the breather pipe to the two pipe clips so that the modified end of the breather tube is approximately 25 mm (1 inch) from the under-hood
harness located in the corner of the engine bay.

Install the purge canister if loosened.

CAUTION:

Kinks, deformation or pinching of the breather tube can result in pressure buildup in the transmission. Fluid loss from the dipstick may result.

Verify that there are no kinks or deformations in the breather pipe created during the installation or modification process.

When the repair has been accomplished, prepare the Recall label. (LRN0002LABEL)

15.

Clean the radiator support, position the label on the radiator support and roll the label to ensure that the adhesive makes continuous contact with
the cross member surface.
