1. Inspect the upper windshield finisher for looseness and damage: (Figure 1)

If the finisher has no damage but is loose, continue to step 2.

If the finisher is damaged and loose, remove and discard the finisher; continue to step 3.
2. Remove the loose and undamaged upper windshield finisher:

Completely clean the finisher.
NOTE:
Ensure the upper windshield finisher and windshield is free from dirt and is completely dry.
3. Apply suitable sealer along the full length of the windshield finisher 'U' section. (Figure 2)
4. Install the upper windshield finisher, ensuring it is located properly.
5. Using a suitable solvent and cloth, remove any excess sealer. (Figure 3)
