Due to high component cost, all stabilizer bar claims may be subject to a Warranty audit. Please make sure the Diagnostic Procedure described above in
this Technical Bulletin is carried out before renewing the stabilizer bar.

DDW requires the use of causal part numbers. Labor only claims must show the causal part number with a quantity of zero.

DIAGNOSTIC PROCEDURE

NOTE:

For VINS prior to 7A996253, ensure Technical Bulletin LTB00029 has been carried out.

NOTE:

Ensure Technical Bulletin LTB00123 has been performed and the noise is still evident prior to performing the Diagnostic Procedure outlined below.

NOTE:

The majority of knocks can be heard at approximately 25 mph (40 kph) on rough roads or over single-wheel inputs / shock.

NOTE:

Nuts should be replaced every time clamps are removed.

NOTE:
