17. Tap the brake disc lightly with a soft faced mallet, around the parking brake shoe location within the brake disc.
18. Tighten the wedge adjuster Allen screw to 6 Nm (5 ft. lbs.).
19. Install the access plug.
20. Repeat the above procedure for the other side.
21. Carry out the parking brake shoe bedding-in procedure.
Parking Brake Shoes Bedding-In

If the parking brake shoes or the brake discs have been removed for access to other components then DO NOT carry out this procedure.
22. After the adjustments have been performed, return to the Recommendations list and execute 'Parking Brake -Drive the parking brake to the
latching position'.
23. Exit the current session.
24. Turn ignition 'OFF'.
25. Disconnect the IDS and the Midtronics Vehicle Power Supply from the vehicle.
