CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:
Transmission Fault may be displayed in the instrument cluster message center. Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) P0826-62 may be stored in the
Transmission control module (TCM) and the shift paddles may be inoperative. This may be caused when the TCM receives a Sport / Manual signal with
the transmission shift lever in the Park (P) position, usually occurring at ignition 'ON' or during engine cranking.

Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to update the TCM software.
