Rear Door Window Glass Closing Incorrectly

AFFECTED VEHICLE RANGE:

CONDITION SUMMARY:

Situation:
The left and right rear door window glass may close and then immediately reopen or the one-touch up function may be inoperative. This may be caused
by the Hall sensor incrementing when the vehicle 'wakes up', causing the door module to record the incorrect glass position.

Action:
In the event of a customer concern of the above, refer to the Repair Procedure outlined below to configure the Drive's and Passengers Door Modules.

TOOLS:

*IDS with IDS-DVD120_V6.02 or later and Calibration 25 or later* 
Land Rover-approved Midtronics Vehicle Power Supply

REPAIR PROCEDURE

CAUTION:

 Ensure all ignition 'ON' / ignition 'OFF' requests are carried out; failure to perform these steps may cause damage to control modules in the vehicle.

CAUTION: 

A Land Rover-approved Midtronics Vehicle Power Supply must be connected to the vehicle battery during IDS diagnosis / module programming.

1. Connect the Land Rover-approved Midtronics Vehicle Power Supply to the vehicle battery.

NOTE:

IDS must be loaded with IDS-DVD120_V6.02 or later and Calibration File 25 or later.

2. Connect the Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) to the vehicle and begin a new Symptom Driven Diagnostics (SDD) session.
