Removal

1.

Refer to Fig. 1 when replacing rear axle hub bearing.

2.

Remove axle hub as previously described under AXLE CARRIER.

Place axle hub assembly in a vise, Fig. 27.

4.

Using a hammer and chisel, unstake and remove locknut.
