Remove the combination meter assembly (Figure 5).
HINT:
The assembly may be removed by rotating the tower side out first.

Disconnect the three electrical connectors attached to the combination meter.
Fuel Gauge Removal
Place a protective covering on the work bench when disassembling the combination meter and removing the fuel gauge. Care must be taken to avoid
scratching the combination meter glass, also avoid touching the Character Plate Face during the replacement of the Fuel Gauge.

Remove Meter Plate with Meter Glass (Figure 6).
a)
Remove two screws.
b)
Carefully push down the seven locking lugs to release and remove the Meter Plate with the Meter Glass from the Meter Case.

Remove the back cover (Figure 7).

Remove seven screws.
