The information contained in this TSIB supersedes TSIB No. BR004-06. TSIB No. BR004-06 is now obsolete and should be discarded.

Introduction

Some 2007 - 2008 model year ES 350 customers may experience premature rear brake pad wear and/or rear brake noise when moving slowly (less than
10 mph [16 km/h]) with low pressure applied to the brake pedal. A new rear brake pad has been developed to reduce pad wear and/or rear brake squeak.

Applicable Warranty*:

This repair is covered under the Lexus Comprehensive Warranty. This warranty is in effect for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from
the vehicle's in-service date.

* Warranty application is limited to correction of a problem based upon a customer's specific complaint.
