HINT:  It is not necessary to disconnect the transmission control cable from the floor shift lever assembly.

31. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT

(a)

Remove the clip and the No. 1 console box duct.

32. REMOVE YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR

(a)

Disengage the clamp and disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

33. REMOVE CENTER AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

34. DISCONNECT NO. 4 PARKING BRAKE CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a)

Using a wrench, hold the lock nut of the No. 1 parking brake cable and loosen the turnbuckle of the No. 4 parking brake cable.

(b) Disconnect the No. 4 parking brake cable assembly from the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly.

35. REMOVE NO. 2 DASH PANEL INSULATOR PAD 

(a)

Remove the No. 2 dash panel insulator pad.
