Remove Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve mounting nuts.

-

Remove Valve and gaskets.

Installation

1. Reinstall the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve.

Place a new gasket on the intake air connector.

Install the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Valve wiyh two nuts.

Torque:  18 Nm (13 ft lb)

Reconnect vacuum hose and pressure hose to Valve.

2. Reinstall the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature Sensor (California models only).

Torque:  20 Nm (14 ft lb) 

3. Reinstall the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Pipe.

Temporarily install the union nut of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Pipe.
