7. Install Exhaust Gas Recirculation pipe.

Temporarily install the union nut of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation pipe.

-

Install a new gasket and the Exhaust Gas Recirculation pipe with the 2 bolts.

Torque:  21 Nm (15 ft lb) 

-

Tighten the union nut of the Exhaust Gas Recirculation pipe.

Torque:  64 Nm (47 ft lb) 

8. Install the Data Link Connector 1 bracket and Vacuum Switching Valve assembly (California only) with the bolt.

9. Connect the following hoses:

-

Power Steering air hose to air intake chamber (1)

-

Vacuum sensing hose to air intake chamber (2)

-

Vacuum sensing hose to Fuel Pressure Regulator.

10. Connect the Vacuum Switching Valve connector (California only).
11. Connect the Data Link Connector 1 to the bracket.
12. Connect cable to negative terminal of battery.
