Turn Signal Switch: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Ensure steering wheel and front wheels are in straight ahead position.
3. Remove steering wheel and pad as outlined under Steering Wheel, Service and Repair.
4. On SC300 and SC400 models, remove No.1 undercover and No.1 lower finish panel.
5. On ES300 Models, remove front pillar garnish,front inside scuff plate, front door opening cover, cowl side trim and safety pad No. 2.
6. On 1993-94 LS400 models, remove undercover, lower pad, key cylinder pad, No.3 finish panel mounting bracket and No. 2 heater to register

duct.

7. On 1995-96 LS400 models, remove No. 1 I/P undercover, end pad and finish plate, then the No. 1 I/P safety pad and No. 2 heater to register duct.
8. On all models, remove screws and steering column covers.
9. On ES300 models, remove lower I/P lower finish panel.

10. On all models, remove four switch attaching screws, then disconnect electrical connectors.
11. Remove combination switch from steering column,
12. Reverse procedure to install.
