Installation

1.

Install spring bumper to suspension support, then install insulator to suspension support as shown in, Fig. 67.

2.

Install coil spring to shock absorber. Fit lower end of coil spring into gap of spring seat of shock absorber, Fig. 68.

3.

Install suspension support to rod and temporarily tighten new nut.

4.

Rotate suspension support so that one of the bolts on suspension support is aligned as shown in, Fig. 69. Remove spring compressor tool.

5.

Install shock absorber and coil spring assembly to vehicle and install three nuts on upper side of shock absorber. Torque three nuts and center
suspension support nut to 20 ft. lb.

6.

Connect rear stabilizer link to lower suspension arm No.2 and torque nut to 33 ft. lb.

7.

Install shock absorber to rear axle carrier and torque bolt to 106 ft. lb.

8.

Install rear brake cylinder to axle carrier and torque bolts to 77 ft. lb.

9.

Install luggage compartment front trim cover.

10.

Install rear wheel and tire assemblies and torque wheel lug nuts to 77 ft. lb.

11.

Check rear wheel alignment.
