Rear Vision Camera: Service and Repair
Television Camera

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:  Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt
pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP
3. REMOVE DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL
4. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER

5. REMOVE TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY

a. Disconnect the television camera connector.
b. Detach the television camera connector clamp.
c. Remove the 2 nuts and television camera.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY

a. Install the television camera with the 2 nuts.
b. Attach the television camera connector clamp.
c. Connect the television camera connector.

2. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER
3. INSTALL DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL
4. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSIST GRIP
5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
6. PERFORM INITIALIZATION

a. Perform initialization.

NOTE:  Certain systems need to be initialized after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
