3. INSPECT PEDAL RESERVE DISTANCE
a. Release the parking brake pedal.
b. With the engine running, depress the pedal and measure the pedal reserve distance as shown in the illustration.
Pedal reserve distance from tibia pad at 490 N (50 kgf, 110 lbs)
for VSC: More than 65 mm (2.56 inch lbs.)
for ECB: More than 73 mm (2.87 inch)
If incorrect, troubleshoot the brake system.
