Parts Identification Method

Countermeasure became effective from "54A" for supply parts. Countermeasure parts can be identified by a parts packing date identification code, as
shown below.

Repair Procedure

NOTE:

When disconnecting the battery, refer to TSIB No. PD020-05, "Power System Initialization During PDS", to ensure that all systems requiring
initialization have been completed properly.

When disconnecting the room lamp wiring connector, do NOT pull on the wire. Pull on the connector only.

Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner
activation.
